An open casting call has gone out seeking extras for the upcoming Paramount Pictures action sequel Transformers: The Last Knight. Filming is prepping to begin in the city of Detroit beginning next Thursday and throughout this summer. Set to star returning actors Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel and recently announced that Sir Anthony Hopkins has joined the cast. This will be the fourth “Transformers” project that has filmed in metro Detroit. Most recently, “Transformers: Age of Extinction” was here in 2013 and turned an area of downtown Detroit into a replica of Hong Kong. Michael Bay is returning as director. According to IMDB, the 5th installment of the franchise is due out in June 2017.
