La serie HBO conquista 7 premi ai Bafta Tv Craft Awards 2020.

I Bafta Tv Craft Awards 2020, riconoscimento britannico ai tecnici e ai lavoratori del mondo della televisione, sono stati un trionfo per Chernobyl, già vincitrice ai Golden Globe, la miniserie della HBO e di Sky Atlantic si porta a casa 7 premi. Il premio per la miglior regia fiction è andato a Johan Renck er Chenobyl, mentre per lo Scripted Casting in TV è stato premiato Des Hamilton per Top Boy. Miglior regia Multi-Camera a Janet Fraser Crook per Glastonbury 2019 e miglior regia Factual BAFTA è andato a Arthur Cary per The Last Survivors. Premiata anchePeaky Blinders, la serie creata da Steven Knight e ambientata a Birmingham dopo la prima guerra mondiale. Il BAFTA Special Award invece è stato assegnato a Nicky Sargent e Vikki Dunn di The Farm Group. La miglior sceneggiatura comedy è andata a Jesse Armstrong per Succession, la serie sulla famiglia Roy, protagonista nel mondo delle news e dell’intrattenimento che ha appassionato il pubblico di Sky Atlantic. L’evento di quest’anno a causa della pandemia di Coronavirus, si è tenuto online, con una cerimonia speciale trasmessa sui canali Facebook e YouTube del BAFTA.
